Toronto is a perennially dog-friendly city. Whether east, west, or central, you have a slew of lush green and grassy options that you are bound to enjoy just as much as your furry friends.
Here are just a few of our favourites:

High Park One of Toronto’s largest parks within the city centre, High Park boasts extensive off-leash trails complete with babbling brooks, benches, and even dog drinking fountains.

Monarch Park Nestled amongst rolling hills and trees, this park near Danforth and Coxwell features 12 acres of green space, including an off-leash area that includes a smaller dog zone as well.

Sunnybrook Park Exceedingly scenic, Sunnybrook Park is connected to a network of several other parks, so you’ll enjoy yourself just as much. You may even catch a glimpse of woodland wildlife.

Thomson Memorial Park This dog mecca on Brimley Road is divided into two sections: One for larger dogs, one for smaller ones. You’ll also find plenty of seating here for the human contingency.

Sorauren Park An active community park in the west end near Roncesvalles Village, Sauroren is spacious and sprawling with a smaller off-leash area. Bonus: Farmers Markets on Mondays.
